About us

Dru Dewachen Hotel is a 3 star  hotel located in Thimphu City. We take pride in being one of the few vegetarian hotels in Thimphu, offering authentic flavors crafted by our experienced Indian chef. We have a total of 30 rooms with 20 double rooms from which  8 are deluxe rooms and 12 are standard rooms, the remaining 10 are twin rooms. All our rooms are non-smoking rooms. One of the highlights of our hotel is the in house swimming pool which is free for our in house guests. Another special feature is our location. We are located in the city but not in the busy heart which gives you the best of both worlds. You’ll find peace and quite here away from the traffic noises but if you wish to visit town, its only 5 minutes drive away. For the nature lovers, we also have a very beautiful park nearby our hotel called the Changyul Park which is 10 minutes walk from the hotel if you wish to go for morning and evening strolls.
